Mica is a kind of natural mineral in the earth, with very exceptional physical characteristics. It can withstand high temperature, be flame-retardant, and conduct very little heat. Natural mica has a good dielectric strength. It is tolerant of water and most chemical agents. Two kinds of natural mica are widely used in electrical insulation and heat insulation field. There are muscovite and phlogopite. In China, we developed a new kind of mica-synthetic mica which is brighter white and with no impurity comparing with muscovite, and it can resist higher temperature than phlogopite.

Muscovite - 500℃

Phlogopite - 800℃

Synthetic mica - 1000℃
